Many of today's most important oilfield activities rely on wireline and slickline, which are strong, thin lengths of wire cable installed on a motorised reel. Wireline and Slickline are very critical for completion and production. Field operators can conduct everything from a simple downhole directional survey to the most sensitive gamma ray formation log via wireline. They can discharge perforating charges at specific downhole locations, unstick a string of jammed pipe, recover a wrench, or operate intricate subsurface well pressure and flow controls, as well as full well control procedures.
The training course discusses the creation of wireline operations, wireline equipment, and the numerous operations (diagnostic, troubleshooting, completion, and production maintenance) done using wireline equipment, as well as comprehensive well control methods.
