Applied Reservoir Engineering

This course is the heart of our reservoir engineering programme and the foundation for all further studies in this field. A wide range of engineering procedures are addressed, including fluid and rock characteristics, modelling, and field development planning. It is desirable to be proficient in using Microsoft Excel to do calculations and create graphs. Reservoir engineering is also portrayed as part of a contemporary, multidisciplinary team effort that makes use of computer technologies. An thorough handbook and set of references are given. This course focuses on conventional reservoirs.
